of the Fooderang website at fooderang.co and WhatsApp-based
restaurant recommendation service (together, the “Service”).
By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Fooderang.

2. What Fooderang Is…
Fooderang is a restaurant recommendation and decision-support service.
We help users choose places to eat through WhatsApp and related channels.
Fooderang is currently offered as a beta service. This means some parts of the Service may change, improve, be interrupted, or contain errors from time to time.
3. Eligibility 🔞
You must be at least 18 years old to use Fooderang.
By using the Service, you confirm that:
you are at least 18 years old
you have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms
4. No Account Required ▶️
At this stage, Fooderang does not require a traditional account or login.
You may use the Service through WhatsApp or other channels we make available.
5. What We Provide 🍽️
Fooderang provides restaurant suggestions and informational recommendations only.
Unless we explicitly say otherwise:
we do not operate restaurants
we do not guarantee reservations or table availability
we do not guarantee prices, menu items, opening hours, service quality, atmosphere
we do not guarantee that any recommendation will result in a satisfactory experience
Restaurant details can change at any time. You remain responsible for your final dining decisions.
6. AI-Assisted and Beta Output 📡
Fooderang may use internal systems and third-party AI providers to generate or support recommendations.
Because of this:
outputs may sometimes be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or imperfect;
recommendations depend in part on the information you provide; and
you should verify time-sensitive details such as opening hours, exact location, pricing, availability, allergies, or special requirements.
Fooderang is designed to help you decide faster, not to provide guaranteed factual, legal, medical, or safety advice.
7. WhatsApp and Third-Party Platforms 🛜
Fooderang may operate through third-party platforms and providers, including WhatsApp and related Meta services.
Your use of those platforms may also be subject to their own terms and policies.
We are not responsible for the availability, performance, outages, or policies of third-party platforms.
8. Acceptable Use ✅
You agree not to use the Service:
for any unlawful, harmful, abusive, fraudulent, or misleading purpose
to harass, threaten, or harm another person
to send defamatory, obscene, hateful, or otherwise objectionable content
to interfere with or disrupt the Service
to attempt unauthorized access to our systems or providers
in a way that violates applicable law or third-party platform rules
We may suspend or stop providing the Service to you if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or used the Service in an inappropriate or harmful way.
9. User Content 🔁
You may send us messages, preferences, screenshots, photos, location details, feedback, and other content in connection with the Service (“User Content”).
You keep ownership of your User Content.
By sending User Content to us, you give Fooderang a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, store, reproduce, adapt, and analyze that content as reasonably necessary to:
provide the Service
personalize recommendations
improve the Service
test, review, and support operations
comply with legal obligations
Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy.
10. Intellectual Property 🧠
Fooderang, its name, branding, website content, recommendation formats, designs, and related materials are owned by Fooderang Ltd or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except as expressly permitted by us, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, or commercially exploit any part of the Service.
11. No Emergency or Critical Use 🆘
Fooderang is not an emergency service.
You must not rely on Fooderang for emergency assistance, public safety, medical, allergy-critical, or other high-risk decisions.
12. Service Availability 📲
We may modify, suspend, withdraw, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time,
with or without notice.
We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
13. Disclaimer 🤥
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided
on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Fooderang disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
14. Limitation of Liability 🚨
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fooderang Ltd and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, business opportunity, or expected savings arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed HKD 500.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
15. Indemnity 💸
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fooderang Ltd and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and contractors from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses,
and expenses arising out of:
your misuse of the Service
your breach of these Terms
your violation of any law or third-party rights

Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy,
which explains how we collect, use, and process personal data.

When we do, we will post the updated version on our website
